We call ourselves the FreeCampers because we just love to be on our travels, exploring the highways and back roads of North America without spending a lot of money in the process.  When we are not on the road, we are thinking about and planning being back on the road.

CARGO TRAILER CONVERSION
We love traveling in our lightweight converted cargo trailer.  It is fully self sufficient with ample solar power and water capacity

​After years of trial and error, we appear to have come up with a good formula that works for us right now.  As time evolves, we will certainly add new gadgets to improve our setup


​WHERE WE STAY WHILE ON THE ROAD
​There are a number of ways to travel when you have a rig that is geared up to handle most conditions.
Our large water tanks and ample solar energy allow us to stop for a night in a Walmart parking lot, another night in a Flying J Truck Stop and a couple of weeks boondocking in an isolated desert location.
Whatever we do, we try not to pay a lot of money for an RV Resort or a full hookup site in a state or national park.
